 Well, it now has a coat of paint and it certainly is much more presentable. Here the flames are roaring away quite nicely and as can be seen, no black smoky marks anywhere on the paintwork. Proof that the chimney is doing a great job of sucking up the smoke. Great tasting meat too ;-) Full story

Braai now in use but still needs to be painted as it is quite ugly to look at right now. Good news is is that the chimney really works great as it draws the smoke up and out immediately without having to pre-warm it. Chimney extends 1.5 m above the afdakkie so completely smokeless and really great to Braai even in the rain. This ... Full story

This is the first post done using the WordPress app for Android Tablet. Using the Galaxy Tab which is quite nice given the space available on the keyboard. Quite awesome. Let's see what an embedded image will look like. Full story

Our 2007 Hyundai Tucson was fitted with a supposedly Brand New replacement engine due to it having been diagnosed with Piston Slappling. On receiving the vehicle back from Hyundai, Bellville, Cape Town, who did the Engine exchange, there are oil burning fumes coming in the vehicle and smells very strong while the vehicle is stationary and idling.
