BMW 328i 1996

Bye bye BMW, it has now left the stable and is hopefully still galloping along, though I cannot with all honesty say for how long, since the Nikasil coated cylinder bores had been well eaten away by the high sulphur content of the South African petrol.

Won’t get one of these in a hurry again, and never, ever, will I buy a vehicle from Andre Groenewald Motors in Voortrekker Road in Goodwood, Cape Town, who sold this dud to me.

Or should I rather say, I bought this dud from them in the belief that they sold _quality_  motor vehicles.

Ha! That was my experience …..
