Well, I find that I cannot upload images at all using the Blackberry App for Wordpress.
This will go through but not with an image attached.
Retried with an image and once again an error occurred communicating with server.
Found out about Wordmobi, and we now have a solution, blogging on the move via my Nokia phone.
Blackerry needs to play catchup....
